My dept is looking to hire two people (for the same position). You must have a degree (associates and up); no specific field is required. My boss uses the fact as a filter and general show of commitment/fortitude, etc.

I'd describe the work as half office work, half parts processing/prep to include detailed visual inspection with hand-held loupes/scopes, die washing, monitoring automated processes, handling/timing 5 things going on at once. There are some bad chemicals and by-products (hydrofluoric acid, benzene, etc) but we have very good engineering and PPE in place.

Chemical experience is a plus but not required. Experience with schematics and mechanical aptitude are big pluses. Non-exempt and very competitive healthcare package.

PM for more details. I will have a big hand in the hiring process Application is through NC ESC but the positions are not up. I'd specifically mention you to HR and arrange it.

12-hour shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off
You may also be in the running for the next position up which would be 40 hours M-F 11:30pm-8:00am
