the ladies dig the drinker in me but the drinker in me digs the drinks. a lot. and as often as possible.

When i get another steady job I suppose i'll have to start drinking again and get married, hopefully the wife will drive me to drinking and thus I can maintain some sort of stability in my life

Depends on the situation.

I'm about 8.5/10 with the ladies.

My work confidence varies depending on the situation. Can be as low as 1/10...but probably doesn't get much higher than a 7/10. I need more experience.

^^^^thanks. it was easy to do. As it turns out a great part of the work was done for me by my paternal line starting upwards of six generations ago. I just stepped in the same hole most men do and found I had more trouble getting out. My brother and I both have this struggle.

I have it under control, mostly by not completely abstaining then giving into despair.
I just have a few here and there and am ok with it. If i start seeing old trends pop up, I cut myself off. But that hasn't happened yet.
One good 15 month bender can teach you a lot of stuff when you finally sober up enough to remember it.

I am a horrible public speaker. I still freak out when I have to do it at work. I get dry mouth, start shaking, and fumble words even though I know what I want/should have said.

I'm the opposite. I'm a great public speaker, but I suck at ordinary day-to-day conversation. For some reason, talking to one person makes me far more nervous than talking to 40 people.

^^i'm like you. i could walk around a place and talk to 100 people individually and be completely fine. but as soon as it becomes a group focused on me i turn into a sweaty palmed, lump in the throat mess. it's crazy.
