I bought an Apple Airport Express for the sole reason to use it as a bridge for music between my computer and home speakers located far away from my computer. Works great from the computer controls, but, the whole reason I wanted it was to control everything mobile. Not run up the stairs whenever you want to change the play mode. They do make great apps to control this, such as 'Reemote' and 'Muse Controller', however, it needs software on your computer to use - and they only make it for....Mac.
iTunes works fine through Airplay and the Remote app. But I want to also be able to play/control Pandora, Spotify, speakers on/off, and everything else.
Are there any apps/programs that you know of for Windows that will communicate with Airfoil (or another program that works with Airport Express or wireless audio over wifi)?

Thanks, beginning to think Airfoil wasn't the best choice. It was only $25. But I realized there is a setting you can go in and airplay off spotify and pandora. It's just that it's going from your phone rather than your computer. Airfoil and complement [Mac only] apps allowed you to do it easily from your phone, but using your computer resources. 3/3/2013 10:34:36 AM |
