I would have expected it to be because she was about to pay with an equally stolen credit card, but I think they would have mentioned if they found those on her as well.

Maybe she lost her own and thought she was smart enough to improvise? Just because someone isn't cut out for criminal activity doesn't mean they won't try.

^^Yeah, don't want someone to notice you're paying with a card that doesn't have your name on it. Give them the fake ID, give them the fake card and they won't know you've stolen them.


Unless you give the ID to the person you stole it from, of course.

^I think you're overestimating the common waiter/waitress though. Do you think most common waitresses are going to memorize the name from an ID at the beginning of the meal and match it with the name on a debit card at the end of the meal?
