I don't get this practice, can someone explain it to me? Is it just so you can have an online scrapbook for the kid when they get old enough to appreciate it?

i think facebook will stick around for a long time, at least in some capacity. people will always want access to the photo albums.

Actually, that's a good point. If they just spam the shit out of baby pictures and what not on the kid's page rather than their own, it works out for everyone.

I think it's a great idea. I wish my brother would do that for my niece...that way you see all her pictures in one place and I can tag her instead of her parents when I put the picture up.

i have some friends who have done this.

they then caption pictures with things like I'M SLEEPING WITH DADDY or MOMMY HOLDING ME.

i'm glad i'm not friends with this baby.
