Conservative "defenders of the Constitution" want to throw away the Constitution:

Well at least that pesky Bill of Rights portion anyway (except for the 2nd amendment of course).

i'd bet a lot more conservatives agree with the Fox News talking heads than progressives agree with Bloomberg

But that doesn't fit the "they're just two sides of the same coin" narrative!

^^^I was expecting Bloomberg to say what Bill Maher once did, that the Second Amendment needs to be changed: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/12/maher-liberals-are-too-scared-to-say-the-2nd-amendment-is-bullsh-t/

IT's been changing since its inception. It's designed to change, and it's nature is change.

^ This. Completely disregarding the most important amendments in the bill of rights is something entirely different.

There are only two amendments they'll bother to stand behind these days, and both of them both start and end with the number 2

liberals ignore the Constitution just as much as conservatives. get out of here with this nonsense. I've heard just as many liberals say that it's "a bunch of shit on old paper written by a bunch of dead guys," and that we shouldn't listen to anything they have to say. Seriously, this is lame

ummm, yeah, it's identical. What else would you take from "it's a bunch of shit on old paper written by a bunch of dead guys" other than "we should just ignore it"?
