I'm trying to put together a project for my environmental science club at school, and am curious about using recycled plastic to make filament for 3-d printer use as a way for kids to collect, recycle, and produce a product in school. Has anyone had any experience with anything like this? They both appear to be fairly amateur and neither are available for purchase as of yet. Any other similar projects that you know of that could work?

Thanks
