I pulled my back so I really need a hot bath but I'm not sure if the doors to this shower are waterproof.
Has anyone done this before?

The plan so far is:
1. Place an empty cool whip bucket upside down to cover the drain.
2. Place something heavy like a shelf to block the swing out door so it doesnt get forced open with water pressure.
3. Use a ladder to get in the shower after securing door with a shelf.

any advice is appreciated.

^may not be NASA level waterproof but i can deal with a few drops here and there.

only thing that sucks is i'll have to put a chair in there cause theres no room to lie down. Unless i have my legs sticking straight up which may work.

I think there's some kind of spray or sealant you can buy to waterproof the door. Shouldn't be more than five dollars or so.

You'll need to figure out a way to plug your shower's drain. Most standup showers don't have sealable drains. I think Lowe's has rubber drain covers for about five bucks.

2. buy 4 screen doors
3. spray screen doors with the rubber spray and place in shower
4. move somewhere with a bathtub
