But, I was commissioned in the Navy, so I went to that.

^ Yeah...we all talked about it...especially how we could only have a certain number of people show up. My entire family came, including my grandfather. I think I was the only one of us who didn't go.

Dr. Bourham (love that guy!!!) showed up to my commissioning to give me my diploma.

Oh shit, me too.

I rather enjoyed the Donahue speech. Not exactly typical graduation material, but it was certainly exciting. Half of the audience booed or walked out; half the audience gave a standing ovation.
"This is why you don't have a job now, Phil!"

11.5 years ago I graduated from NC State. Oddly enough Donahue was the speaker at my graduation as well. Skipped it.
