Church is precisely the problem with religion.

One can have a terrific relationship with their God without attending Church.

Church is a building, a business, and a focal point for a bunch of busy-bodies who go there to gossip just like any other social setting.

For some reason God is concerned with the quality and appearance of the clothes you wear too.

And this church is only 15 mins walk from my home in Beijing. One of the biggest in China.

I hate when churches over do things and spend money on opulent things.... But at the same time I love going into cathedrals (and similar structure of all religions). I find them beautiful, and wasteful. maybe the juxtaposition is what draws me to them.
