Just depends on the proof IMO. If its 70-80 proof that's pretty respectable regardless of how it's administered.

Some of those flavored vodkas are killer with sugar free Redbull. The Rains are good and the Stolis are decent. Burnette's is rot gut flavored.

Vodka is a good vehicle for flavors because its own flavor is subtle and near neutral. Bourbon, on the other hand, has a very distinctive flavor of its own, with lots of variance between brands. So why not appreciate the flavor of the bourbon rather than try to adulterate it?

I was overwhelmed with the vodka selection though for another drink I'm making. Soooo many flavors that I had trouble finding just good ole regular vodka.

I don't shop at liquor stores very much.

We have a liquor sponsor for the golf tourney this year, and they're introducing peach bourbon this summer.

I'm not sure what to think about it, but I know I'm not gonna turn down free product I will report back in September.
