the one and only time I was picked for jury duty was for a case that involved a patient with Crohn's Disease.

it was sad.

It was a week long trial and the plaintiff dropped the suit right before it was going to be given to us to decide. What a waste of time.

Chron's and colitis are terrible. Both autoimmune disease so it's not like if you avoid certain foods and lifestyle choices, you can prevent it.

My sister has it. She ends up in the hospital every year or two for a week when she has a really bad flare up.

Personally, I think it's her body's reaction to all of her pent-up aggression and anger. She is quite a horrible cunt.
