So I've been watching the ICC Champions Trophy cricket tournament (one day cricket) on ESPN3 on my breaks at work. The games are listed as starting at 5:15 am and still aren't over when I return to work from break at 3 pm. First class cricket matches can take up to five days to complete. It made me start thinking about things that don't take as long to complete as a cricket match.

Todays broadcast was 8 hours 58 minutes and 52 seconds. They even changed commentators after a while. The person who created this sport must have been anti-social and had nothing better to do in life than swing a flat bat.
