"The colour and the shape" was the first cd I bought with my own money. So lots of good memories associated with this man. I thought Everlong was one of the greatest songs ever written lol.

Despite this heavy bias I still kinda understand where Grohl haters are coming from (well sometimes). I usually try to convince them that when you survey a lot of the "rock" that has gotten radio airplay over the years, I just think FF, and to a degree QOTSA, are a cut above the vast majority of that shit.
