It's a complete trap. Actually worse than their normal pizzas, in a smaller size, with fewer toppings and less sauce.

Meat trio and spicy chicken for life

I can't remember the last time I went in the freezer section at the grocery store. You still in college or something?

Yeah seriously? I mean the only time I go there is possibly for frozen veggies if a recipe calls for it. Usually it's better just to get fresh produce. Basically the only sections of a grocery store I go to are produce, dairy for eggs, and meat. I also go into spices on occasion. There's nothing but processed food in the freezer section and 80% of the rest of the store. A good rule of thumb is shop the exterior of a grocery store (excluding freezer section) and you'll be good.

Essentially yes. Unless it's frozen vegetables or fruits. I do get that shit in bulk at Costco because it's way cheaper and great for green smoothies.

the best "frozen" pizza are the sams/walmart pizzas that aren't frozen.

Fruits and vegetables

usually more conveniently packaged: unless you'd like to take the trouble of cracking open your own coconut and grating the meat

Harris Teeter has $7.99 pizzas on Mondays btw and if you don't want to wait for their oven you can get one prepped but not baked for the same price.

"Simply Potatoes" are usually mixed in with french fries and stuff, but only contain one ingredient. I'll pick those up when I'm being lazy.

Frozen vegetables always taste bad. Fruits aren't as bad. Almost always better to get fresh veggies.

^^ Depends on how you want to define processed, but I'd bet money that meal doesn't contain the shit you posted a picture of/mechanically separated meat.

Quote :
"Mechanically separated meat may not be described simply as "meat" on food labels, but must be labeled as "mechanically separated" pork, chicken, or turkey in the ingredients statement. Hot dogs can contain no more than 20 percent mechanically separated pork."

Any kind of frozen prepared meal still has preservatives and lots of sodium. Just learn to cook. It's way more rewarding and healthier.

You're a pretty judgemental dude huh? I thought you might just be trolling us, but your posting in this thread is pretty much par for the course.

As far as sodium content goes, that meal has 550 mg. That's not *that* bad for a full meal. It's not too hard to exceed that with home cooking.

I eat out the garbage. you people need to step your food knowledge game up. there's no such thing as healthy food. The government has that locked up. They're loosing the reign of regulations and they're putting anything in you and called it food.

^^Eh kind of a silly viewpoint. The healthier you eat the less sodium you're going to intake naturally but that doesn't mean the less sodium you eat the healthier you will be.

It's so much simpler than people make it out to be. Don't eat processed foods and get exercise and you'll be healthy. Limiting or eliminating particular elements in specific foods we eat is silly. Just don't eat shit food.

yeah it's not a matter of a reduced sodium intake giving you a health benefit. it's a matter of the negative health effects that come with an excessive sodium intake.

Well I'd be careful there because if you're healthy and active than excessive sodium intake isn't necessary a bad thing. In fact a lot of people actually take sodium supplements (runners, etc).

I think it's more that the diet associated with high sodium intake is more often than not a poor diet. If you eat healthy and are active then you'll either crave salt or get just the right amount. I sweat a lot but also do a good bit of cardio activities and I always crave salt.
