this is dumb, but i can't help an argument: i made the same comment to you directly in that thread. i know you saw it b/c you responded to it. people do this all the time, it's not just about you; that's why i made the thread. i didn't notice, at all, that you had 300 posts; my point was "this forum's so goddamn old the old <1000 posts thing is irrelevant".

^^^Well it came off as a jackass thing to do. You make the comment in the thread and then make a new thread saying the same thing. Seems a little redundant and comes off as a jackass. And as much hell as I've gotten and seen people get for having <1000 posts, for nothing other than having <1000 posts, I tend to be a smart ass and ask questions later.

And lets not overlook the fact of making a thread to simply say that it is ok to make a thread is being a jackass. Now you are trying to back track trying to legitimize this entire thread. When it was nothing more than you wanted to make a point.
