I haven't been around that tree since I started racing because we always run north and none of the track day orgs book full anymore. that turn was the first one that sent me off the track. hopefully they'll sell commemorative plaques made out of the tree - course maps or something.

Shouldn't this thread be in Garage... I'm pretty sure Oak Tree would get its proper TWW recognition there instead of Chit Chat...

I'm not sad, but shocked maybe. I only made a few turns around Oak Tree (and thankful I didn't get wrapped around it), but not enough to let it ruin my morning

I just know how iconic it was for all racers...
