to be fair

a) mos def has been doing this in concert form to people for the last several years, and this is coming from someone who liked a lot of mos def's output (something the lord made is a favorite, as is black star, black on both sides, and most of the new danger) his shows these days are dog shit. he's just as liable to perform his songs as he is to sit on stage and just play the fucking bongos for two hours.

b) i had a deviated septum evaluated once and they basically did the same thing to me with a fiber optic camera set up. that shit is just uncomfortable as its going in. once it's in, you don't notice anything other than an obstruction, it's not like it's painful.

I had the same, but my ENT used a mild local anesthetic, and he didn't feed the tube all the way to my stomach.
