Here for work. Super nice place. Highly recommend as a laid back beach vacation spot.

I had a buddy that worked/lived on Little St. Simon. It was awesome.

The liquor store near the beach is predictably rather high

My parents did their honeymoon on St. Simons. I've never been. My parents love that place though...

I'm heading down that way Monday for the next three months. I've heard good things about st Simons. Any restaurant, attraction recommendations?

Southern Soul BBQ is pretty good

none of the restaurants on the island have really blown my mind

I suggest you crab off the pier
you may catch stone crab and that claw is damn good

Southern Soul is good stuff. Brogens is a great dive bar, but wouldn't rec the food. Barbara Jeans is really good southern food. Half Shell is pretty new, I think opened this year, really good seafood. Trying out Iguanas tonight so can't tell you yet. Definitely bring or rent a bike. Great place to ride, pretty much been on mine all trip.

I love St Simon Island. I spent some time down there when I was doing secret squirrel training.

So secret squirrel stuff like hanging out at the g bar or surveilling grouper/womprat around Glynn county?

What was the name of the well known "cougar" bar down there? I remember all of our instructors joking every Friday if we were going out to said bar to go cougar hunting.

I also ate at Iguanas seafood, place was good.
