but, seriously... it did kinda weird me out that they were calling George a "white latino" on TV but they would never call Obama a "white black". It seems like mixed-race people always "identify" as the race that is most "beneficial" to them at the time.

It seemed that George identifies as Latino when dealing with minorities, but seemed to go as an unspoken "white" when he has all these white people rallying behind him.

And it seems like Obama only ever knew like 2 black people until he got to college, and lived with his white family... Then in college it seems he dropped the "Barry" for "Barack" and got back in touch with his African roots or whatever.

Not that there's anything wrong with either of them "flip-flopping" on their racial identity... It's their identity to choose. One could argue that mixed race kids have an advantage in Social Evolution. Kinda neat.

Didn't you guys see the trial? I mean whether you think he's guilty or not, it was very clear from the testimony of many, many people that Zimmerman was always trying to help people... most would agree that that was his major fault, and that's what started the events into motion that night.

You may think he's a straight up killer, or you may think he's a victim of a corrupt system... but there's no arguing that he liked to help people.
