lul - in my line of work its a joke.

What do you guys do? watch the voice/data circuits? check if they bounce? monitor up/down time? help with bandwidth upgrades? LEC type issues (bandwidth upgrades, copper/fiber), etc?

Sorta, but more on the telecom side with reading SIP messaging, custom linux/app debugging, overall network debugging in the telecom realm from gateway to the end user. everyone is far from an expert in everything but some are great at a few things and as a team we get the job done. I do most of the OAM side for our windows clients, back end database and OS for a product called the A2 (EXPERiUS) and the Mobile iOS/Android client called GENCOM that interconnects with all of the above.
