I know several people, like schindlersfist who now only posts in the damn book thread. And more importantly, you kept new people from joining (or staying after joining). They would login, go to chit chat, and see 30 threads containing the same 4-5 pics/gifs with the same stupid replies and be like "wtf is this shit? I have no idea what is going on, fuck this"
