While this letter may seem mean spirited, the writer may really be inconvenience by living in close proximity to this person.

I had a client not too long ago that lived directly under a special person in a very nice $1100/mo apt. The noise and litter drove her to break her lease, she had to get an attorney to send the apartments a letter to make them stop demanding the lease break penalties. The guy had wild loud episodes at all hours of the day, he threw cigarette butts all over her patio furniture burning the cushions and shit. Since he was legally disabled he never had to work, my client was a nurse and had to work long rotating shifts so she needed her sleep. He put threatening notes on her door because she complained to the apts.

The apt could not take action against the guy since he was protected for his disability, but the person I assisted buying a house could not live there anymore because of the noise, litter, and threats from the guy.
