This is probably the best place to rant, but I am getting sick of all the, "It's ok to not shave," "It's ok to not have kids," and "It's ok to not have the prefect body" articles that people keep posting on facebook to try to help justify being fat, not being perfect, or not having children. There are at least 2 girls on my friends list that don't want to have kids and take every chance they get to post an article that explains why some people feel this way, or comment about it.

And the slide show articles are annoying too. Even Forbes magazine does it now. You have to click on about 40 slide show pictures just to see this years list of 10 best cities to live in, 10 best colleges, 10 best cities for business, etc.

I couldn't take Facebook anymore (or, really, a lot of Internet spaces).

It kinda made me a really nasty person...not that I was actually mean to people on Facebook. But I thought mean things about people I would otherwise never have known were dull or provincial...

Grammatical errors aren't actually the problem though.

It's a series of bizarre self-serving messages--that don't really mean anything--posted by people who generally demonstrate little character in their daily lives.

To be clear, it's fucking narcissism to the max.

To them, posting the seemingly insightful quote is the same thing as actually having integrity or whatever trait they want to reflect to the world. It's troubling, disturbing, all kinds of things to me.


But we don't get to say this to anyone because we're not tryna be judgey assholes.

That is what makes tww so great to me. We can come here and say whatever we want without our families looking down on us for comments made. My aunt is going through a divorce right now and her son went on facebook talking about how much he hates his dad for being verbally abusive to him. Now everyone in the family thinks he's strange for making those comments. No worries if you say things like that on here.
