how humorous
someone has a legitimate complaint and gets clowned on
not only by a business owner
but also an insignificant internet user with stupid opinions ![](images/smoke.gif) 8/29/2013 7:57:55 PM

site is legit, i guess, if its something as simple as a pothole on a busy thoroughfare
otherwise its some bullshit, but thats what you get from some nationwide site...if its a local issue, you're better off contacting the city/county
unless of course your complaint is downtrodden citizens eating food in a park 8/29/2013 8:10:48 PM

Not sure about Rock Hill, but the city of raleigh actually follows the site and forwards issues. I've had potholes fixed, streetlights fixed, broken sidewalk at the park, trash at the park, etc... all fixed very quickly. (streetlight took a little while, but they responded and ordered parts quickly)

I used it while trying to get rid of the abandoned icecream truck on Athens that the city took forever coming to pick up. 8/29/2013 8:46:10 PM

The thread about the CityGate signs is pretty good.
EDIT: I like the Glenwoodian guy.

There are NUMEROUS cars, trucks & vehicles parked in the yard, empty lot & on the street at this residence. It looks junky, brings down property value for the rest of the neighborhood & is an eye sore having to see it every single day. 2013-08-16 · Reported by Cindy ·
An inspector talked to the owner earlier in the week. Owner stated that he had plates for them. Inspector requested they be put on. The insepctor will revisit property Friday, if cars are still untagged a case will be initiated. Additional information will be posted after re-inspection. City of Raleigh
Thank you. Althought, curious how 2 individuals have that many cars & valid plates for them all HOWEVER ONLY 1 of them are ever driven/moved. Regardless of whether he has valid plates for them or not, shouldn't they not be there just sitting? 2013-08-28 · Cindy
The inspector went back to property-violation cleared. STFU and mind your own business. Closed By City of Raleigh " |

Is there a larger SeeClickFix thread? Couldn't find it with the search.
Just discovered there's quite a big feud going on in the the neighborhood I live next to. The owners of Irregardless bought a house on Athens and turned it into a garden, and there's been a lot of activity over it on SeeClickFix, but also a couple city public hearings. The issues come back to zoning and public nuisance I think. The squabble seems to come mostly from the subset neighborhood of high-end houses next door that don't like visible gardens I guess. When it starts to warm up I'm going to have to cross the street and see if they'll take some volunteers on the garden. 1/11/2014 9:38:53 PM
