So every year someone wins this, and they get to read their essay at some football game. I was really hoping to win by default. This would have been amazing. Someone with like x generations of Pack alumni won or something boring like that.

All the same. I'm happy someone read this and took it seriously. They even sent me a condolence package and praised my definition of family and persistence.

I still wish I had gotten to read this.
