sets up all the pieces well. The rest of the cast does a good job of evening out Samberg's wackiness. That's not really a criticism of Samberg just it would be way to much with another couple characters like that.

i really don't like it that much...but i keep watching. i feel like they got a lot of good ingredients, but they aren't coming together quite right, it is getting better though.

It's a nice mellow chuckle worthy comedy. I think it's great for what it is as long as you don't go in expecting to be rolling the whole hour.

Yeah and I'm digging the girl who plays Diaz too.

I'm hoping this is similar to park and rec first season.

Just takes a bit to figure out all the characters and how to make it work and if it doesn't get canceled before that happens it will be pretty good.

Wow, I really like the show and but I still don't think it's hit its stride or potential yet so I'm shocked to see that. That said I'm trilled they didn't hand it to the abortion that is Big Bang or the highly overrated Modern Family.

Also, Samberg got the acting one cause he's the lead but he's probably only one step above santiago for bottom of that cast.

good for them.. its one of my favorite new shows, i'm hoping it'll get better in 2nd season.

so glad it wasn't big bang or modern family, tired of those shows winning all the awards. especially big bang theory ha.

hopefully FOX will realize they need to go all in with this and New Girl. I can go either way on The Mindy Project, but won't be surprised if it gets the boot. Dads is just terrible.

^^ New Girl has sucked pretty bad this season and struggled at the beginning of its first season. It's had about half a season's worth of good episodes.

New Girl has gotten better, though, and I think ending the Coach experiment will help. If they put this on at 8, Mindy 830, New Girl 9, then limp to the barn with whatever they want to stick at 930, that would be a solid hour and a half. the way they have it now, I either have to sit through Dads, or watch something else at 8 and risk forgetting the Nine-Nine is on at 830 (which happens with more frequency than I'd like to admit)
