Just found out I need all 4 wisdom teeth out. Had a consult with the surgeon in Brier Creek who was referred by my dentist but the guy was a douche and dont trust him with the job. Has anyone used or heard of a good oral surgeon in Raleigh? Any help is appreciated.

Fixed my mouth after the first guy in SC fucked it up (I had a bunch of extra cartilage growth and pockets of skin). Took out my brother's wisdom teeth and he had a 1000% better experience than I did with the idiot from back home. Highly recommend him.

I had a blast getting mine taken out - Knocked me out in the middle of a conversation with the nurses and I woke up and kept talking like I was only out for a second. And I also told my grandmother, on the way home, how I was going to throw a kegger at her house and get fucking plastered.

Also, I noticed later that the orthodontist from years earlier had pulled some of my god damn premolars. THAT pissed me off. /random

I'm 29 and just had 2 taken out by Dr Ahmad at Capital Oral and Facial Surgery at the beginning of August and haven't had any problems so far. My appt was at 9 and I was going home at 9:45. I'm told it only took about 10 min to pull the 2 teeth but both were pretty vertical. The top was jut pulled but the bottom was only partially erupted and he had to remove so bone above it.

I initially went to him because he was one of the few I the area that wherein network on my wife's insurance and it was only about a mile from the house. He was friendly and answered all my questions.

I had mine done by Rex Card in Cary I think. I still have them in a box. I would recommend him as of fifteen years ago when I had it done.

I have no idea what they actually gave me, but I was knocked out cold for the entire thing - They gave me gas, which started to make me nauseous, but then the Surgeon walks in, tells me to count down from 10...I got to 9 and was out.

All oral surgeons are sadistic satanists. They tell people to hold still while they fracture their jaws and teeth and slowly pull the pieces out one by one, all day, every day. Just concern yourself with surgical outcomes, not their personality.

I had all 4 of mine extracted by Dr. Kozacko in N. Ral. a couple of years ago (I was 29). Since three were impacted he suggested general anesthesia. Had it done Friday morning and was back at work on Monday. No complications.

The guy I used was great. However, I'm in a billing dispute with his office people and my insurance company. Basically, it amounts to them charging me the billing rate and not the negotiated rate. So after insurance, and after what I paid upfront, my refund check is $84 short. They don't see a problem, and my insurance company is pissed at them for it.
