this is more chit-chatty, but, what gives you goosebumps? I'm talking all things motorsports.
For me, the big ones are: - Loping idle - large turbo engine coming up on the charger(s) - full-bodied vehicles hitting the tires HARD at a drag strip launch 10/4/2013 4:31:44 PM |

Horse mother fuggin power
I don't even care how it's made anymore I used to hate on n20 but even nawsss when you are spraying so much you have 1' flames shooting out the exhaust.... Yeah I can still find that cool
I don't care how it's being used but I like registered tagged full bodied cars that do whatever they do well.

I really like having the mechanical extension of my body. For me this extends to bicycles, skateboards, and even R/C shit. Its just fun controlling things that move, especially when you can ride in/on them, and even more especially when they can accelerate hard and change direction quickly. 10/5/2013 1:21:52 AM |

I like acceleration and g-forces. Being pushed back into the seat and then really needing the high bolster is just a ton of fun. It makes it even better when I am the reason it does that (mods). I also like how easy it is to customize/ personalize. There is so much that just blends in, and then you see these examples of what should have been produced. 10/5/2013 2:46:54 AM |

Goosebumps?
*High Torque. Things that throw me in the back of the seat and give a butt dyno a satisfaction that's nohomo. *Cars that grip. Ahmet has shown me a good time (again nohomo) in his collection of cars a few times and I'm amazed at how exciting it is to be planted to the ground while traveling at fast speeds. *Go carts. I love cars with a mechanical feel. Manual brakes and Manual steering for me. The feedback are so direct with both. manual transmissions make requires my full involvement in everything about the car. I believe this is why I love motorcycles even more; I have to make the chasis and my body one and together manipulate the motorcycle to do what it is I desire. *80's cars are awesome. I feel like a lot of true driver's cars came from the mid 80's. They were simple, but not ancient. They have a certain charisma that is lacking in today's vehicles. While the vehicles of today look astonishingly beautiful and stunning, the raw driving characteristics of cars without electronic aids from the 80's never cease to excite me. 10/5/2013 3:34:03 AM |

me in the nascar thread talking about how nascar blows:
Quote : | "all i wanna see is some real ballsy sons of bitches drive the ever-living shit out of some race cars, side by side, swapping positions for 30 or 40 laps at a time, giving some bumper to get the job done, and not whining after the race, but getting even next week." |

motorcycles really do it for me. grabbing a couple gears and backing it in to a turn gets me going, especially when they never really let off the gas and slide out to finish the turn.
coming hard out of a turn and pulling a wheelie out and coming down a little crooked and doing a little headshake.
coming into a turn so hard on the brakes your rear end is in the air and you turn in anyway and just feeling the thud of the back wheel behind you.
an inside stuff coming on brakes super late and probably trailing a bit much for comfort conversely setting someone up on entrance to blow by on exit 10/7/2013 11:37:21 PM |

I guess to sum it up, I like taking things that previously made me feel close to death and then mastering them and just feeling the raw G's that come with it. I also love watching guys who do what what I currently can't or currently makes me feel close to death/wrecking. 10/8/2013 8:44:47 AM |

Another type of 'moment' - the point of no return on a build (however low-tech/red-neck or big budget)
