I'm planning on putting together a little Christmas gift package for all of my employees, and I came up with the idea of personalized ornaments, personalized as in they all say the same thing, something like "Happy Holidays from your [my company's name] Family!" or something similarly cheesy. I would need around 40 of these, but I've not found anything online that's feasible for that small/large of an order. Everything is either $20/piece and really nice, or with a minimum purchase of 100 pieces and around $5. With everything else I've got planned, I wouldn't want to go much higher than $5, $200 total. Can anybody suggest somewhere to look? 10/15/2013 6:38:51 PM |

I get most of my personalized crap from vista print. There are always coupons online. 10/15/2013 6:55:21 PM |

The only ornaments I'm seeing there are just cheap vinyl ones, not actual ornaments. There is some other stuff there worth looking at though, thanks for that suggestion 10/15/2013 7:02:27 PM |

I thought about coffee mugs with some random shit in them, but apparently that's what my predecessor did last year. An ornament might not be the most useful thing in the world, but if they've got a tree they'll use it, and potentially keep it for a while. I'm open to any other suggestion in the specified price range though... 10/15/2013 7:12:21 PM |

This also may be viewed as promoting a certain religion. Jus something to keep in min unless you work in a church and knows that EVERY one of your employees celebrates Christmas 10/15/2013 8:18:34 PM |

Best Gift we got were really nice water bottles. Everyone still has them and that was the present from 4 years ago.
They bought them and then had the decals made and added them themself.
My second favorite gift was L.L. Bean luggage (we go in the field a lot). It is the ugly ass company color, but it has held up well thus far. 10/15/2013 8:49:44 PM |

I give my employees gift cards and a hand written Christmas card stating my appreciation of their hard work over the past year. I always get good feedback on that. Got to make sure the message is sincere though. 10/16/2013 4:17:44 PM |

Well, I have now delegated the christmas present, so I am no longer concerned with it. I'm a good boss 10/16/2013 7:12:38 PM |

This assumes that they haven't boycotted starbucks, like myself. I vowed to never go there, and haven't, except that one time that I was supposed to get coffee for a meeting and remembered an hour before the meeting started.10/16/2013 7:19:53 PM |

Personally, I don't drink coffee, and if I'm going to spend $4 on a drink, it will be a beer. What I was getting at was that anything marginally useful is better than something that, at best, will sit in a closet for over 90% of it's life (and more likely the bottom of a landfill, cuz fuck hanging a sign from work on your christmas tree so you can think about work during your measly vacation). 10/17/2013 6:04:41 AM |
