She's strange and a total bitch. She'll finish drinking that the next morning. We like to piss her off sometimes by washing it. I'm guessing she hasn't washed it since we did last November.

I don't understand how she isn't dead with the lifestyle she has lived.

haha we had this Hornet pilot at work who never washed his coffee mug. i think his was even worse than that, although he never left coffee in it overnight and drank it the next day.

That's not so weird. I've heard of more than one person who won't wash a coffee or tea pot because it changes the taste.

Because she is clearly a step grand mother. And that is a weird concept.

With my step grand father I still say Grandma and Fred. A step father or mother becomes part of your family, like it or not. Step grand parents don't even come close to family unless they were there befor you were born and that's all you knew. Most grand parents aren't involved enough in the day to day to really be accepted or hated as a family member. They are just someone your grand parent married.

Guy I used to work with had this nasty plastic gas station style mug he used for his coffee every day and he never washed it either. That thing had to have been carrying multiple strains of disease causing organisms.

That is a sweet Morton Salt mug though in the OP.

True. I think of my step grandmother as my grandmother, but that's because she married my grandfather when I was three years old. I don't remember my biological grandmother, as she died before I turned two. Nonetheless I was brought up to call her "Nana" as it took many years for my mom to really accept her.

Her own bloodline has disowned her. She isn't the nicest person in the world.

I hardly ever wash mine out. However it gets rinsed daily and I never leave anything in it overnight. That's gross.
