It was about kids that somehow ended up in the time of the dinosaurs

At the beginning, they were watching a cartoon about dinosaurs. The theme song went like this:

Diiiinosaaaaaaurs...DIIIIIIINOSAAAAAAURS...BOOMSHACKALACKALACKABOOMSHACKALACKALACKA

Who remembers this film?

I think I remember this one. They're watching the cartoon, and then they hear a roar coming from the closet. They slowly approach the closet.....

...open the door, get on the floor, everyone walk the dinosaur.

The last part sounds like the beginning of Walk the Dinosaur. I love this song.

Is that poster implying that the world is ruled by turtles now?

Sure, I'll tell you more, no problem: Turtles first appeared around the end of the Triassic period, around 220 million years ago. Before lizards, snakes or crocodiles. Dinosaurs "ruled the world" beginning in the Triassic period. They started appearing around 230 million years ago.

Probably because the only people who watched it are folks who thought it was great as a kid and decided to relive their fond memories. And even half of them thought it sucked.

Those encyclopedias were like $1000. Ain't nobody got time for that.

ANOTHER 80s MOVIE:

There were these aliens that came to earth looking for candy on Halloween, only they called it "Koobie" or something. They help a town restart an old millor something and fill up a dry lake. May have been made-for-TV.

Googling "Koobie" turns up nothing. "Alien movie 80s" is even worse.

I like how you think I should have had a better sense of memory and time for shit I saw on TV when i was 5. It was probably in reruns, too.

HA YOU JERK YOU DIDNT REALIZE THAT EPISODE OF GROWING PAINS YOU SAW ON A RERUN IN 1996 WAS COPYRIGHT 1990.
