dude is 17 and built like a 23 year old. Doesn't shoot particulary well, isn't tall, doesn't have the best hops, best rebounder out of all of our post men even though 2-3 + inches shorter. Consistent effort. I can appreciate him over the next 4 years.

Like I said, Richard Howell part II.

Besides rebounding, he is extremely quick and has great lateral movement for a big man. Just watch his feet when he's hedging screens -- he looks like a guard sometimes.

I think he's eventually going to be a good offensive player too. He rarely shoots jumpers, but he knocks them down regularly when he does. He also has really good touch around the basket when he's not getting blocked. He needs to use head fakes more often.

Plus he just turned 18 a couple months ago. Still might have some growing to do.

I like Freeman. Plays tough and hard. He's young and seems timid offensively at times. As his confidence grows, I think he'll continue to improve. He's finishing this season strong.

Freeman probably won't ever be a star, but the guy just knows how to play.

That charge call was huge. Seemed to get in Semaj's head and take him off his game. He's taken quite a few charges this year.

He also had a big ORB and put back in the 2nd half when Xavier was making a move.

I'm pumped we've got this guy for three more years.

Kyle Washington was our worst roration player this year . His numbers were terrible even for a freshman. You guys evaluate players in bizarroworld.

If you honestly think Kyle Washington was on the same stratosphere as nard this year you are completely oblivious to the sport.

This isn't even debatable. One guy was a major net negative while the other had a stellar freshman season.

And nard does have a very limited skill set. I don't expect him to improve a great deal in the skills department but he's already a very effective player. Have to give gott and the staff credit for finding such a talent that professional scouts completely overlooked.

Washington's per game numbers definitely aren't great for the minutes he's played, but I disagree that he's been a disappointment. I do like Freeman a lot though, especially lately when he's started showing more touch on offense. That'll earn him some more minutes from Gott. At this point I'll assume any big Gott recruits can shoot mid range jump shots.

He's showing the potential he did toward the end of last year. Just not getting lost on screens makes him miles ahead of our other bigs. I still think he has Richard Howell potential but it's going to take a lot of baby steps like the last few games.
