maybe just spends way too much time posting status updates on facebook? Or maybe got really bad sunburn one time on Spring Break?
After reading a ridiculous status update and being annoyed that yet another DJ invited me to his fucking "party" at club ________ this weekend. (Why do these come through as notifications on my phone?!). I started thinking I'm linked to a lot of people who have been murdered or post an awful lot of status updates at the very least. So far I've been thankful not to use Facebook very often. But I am connected to a lot of people who do use it. And that got me thinking that I in fact got really bad sunburn on Spring Break one time. And that on another trip someone in my group got bad sunburn too. Also my ex-girlfriend was on the trip too and she too knew the person who got sunburned.
Speaking of my ex-girlfriend. She was hot but not that hot. I had classes with many girls who were hotter than her. Some of them I talked to once, others I just keep photos of in neat little piles beside my bed and thumb through them and try to remember their name, major, and what class we shared. For each girl I try to also notate one interesting fact like "Always smelled like Violets" or "Came straight from PE on Wednesdays and her hair would be in a little bun".
Is this common for people to spend their time thinking of all these little innate connections with other people. Specifically girls you had classes with? I didn't even mention that I have known many past dance team members. And that at least one of them has probably been sunburnt on spring break before...  12/28/2013 6:56:38 PM
