Here we go again. It's 2014 and time yet again to reset the book reading challenge. Let's all try to read one book a week this year, but if that's too much just list whatever you read because reading is fun. Yeah books! 1) Currently Reading - The Nerdist Way: How to Reach the Next Level - Chris Hardwick
Also, I have a large amount of books that I have already aquired and I think I might list them and have people suggest things to read. Hey, maybe we could read them at the same time. Who knows? Let me know if anyone is interested in that.

I've read all of his novels, and they're a blast to read. They're often hilarious, and I sort of love how crazy he gets with the language. Plus, he's one of few authors I can think of that doesn't shy away from sex in his books. 1/13/2014 10:30:19 AM

This book attempts to collect in one volume representative works by most of the writers eligible for this year’s John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. I would have given The Satanic Verses 10 out of 10 except the end really frags on and on. However, the story lines are original and interwoven brilliantly. The writing style and vocabulary is also very impressive. I will definitely read more of Rushdie's work. 2/15/2014 12:36:12 PM

Fury is really great, speaking of Rushdie... Though I seem to be in the minority by liking it as much as I do, so take that with a grain of salt
I've been reading more books, but no longer on pace with one per week as I was earlier
I'll keep pushing on, anyway

It's pretty much always one paper book and one audiobook (yes, they count). All the classics or old books are audio from librivox.org. All the Twain, Verne, and Shelley books this year were audio. As well as Bryson, but his was a real audiobook, not a librivox recording.
Finished up Frankenstein, moving on to The Hunchback of Notre Dame. 22 hours here I come. Though that's still not much compared to the 53 hours of insufferable torture that was Atlas Shrugged a couple of years back.
