It seems many employ the "trickle-down" approach here... 1/14/2014 1:23:10 PM

That's pretty much accurate, but I actually do wash/scrub my feet mostly to get in between the toes. I'm paranoid about funk in between the toes. I have no basis for this. 1/28/2014 2:22:53 PM

this. except I don't like to plug the bath, it just is perpetually plugged. (not sure why...I'll pour about 1/3 of a bottle of Dran-O down there, and then 2 weeks later it's plugged again.)] 1/28/2014 2:31:15 PM

i scrub my feet a lot more than my face. my face doesn't really get dirty, especially in the winter when I'm not sweating. but my feet sweat constantly and stink. i rarely scrub my arms or legs either. 1/28/2014 2:35:01 PM

Here's how you fix this.
Get a length of braided metal wire. something like this, but thinner:
![](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61XGfdoo%2BsL.jpg)
take some needle nose pliers and fray out one end. Stick the other end in a cordless drill. push the frayed end down your tub drain as far as it will go. pull the trigger and try to push it down further and you'll break up whatever's clogging your drain, and you might be "lucky" enough for it to come back up with your wire. Then proceed to make a face and discard the creature you caught.

^ thank you, kind sir. I will give this method a try (with my sink, too, which suffers from the same problem). 1/29/2014 10:29:39 AM

With a bathroom sink, stuff usually gets caught in the p-trap. it's usually easier to just remove the P-trap, remove the gunk, and replace it, but if your clog is somewhere else, that's worth a shot.
I've only done the metal wire + drill method in a shower drain. Pulled up what appeared to be 2 pounds of my wife's hair matted together with years of soap, shampoo, and body funk, or a mutant creature. I'm still not sure about that one. 1/29/2014 11:52:31 AM

For those of you who use showers at work or the gym, once a week or so use andti-dandruff shampoo as a body wash. Kills ring worm and fungi that plague community showers, prevents athletes foot and such.
