What's your fridge decor style? No magnets? Lots of souvenir magnets? Only functional things that happen to be magnetic? Lots of invitations and other mail?

I just noticed there was a magnet on our fridge from the vet only one of my cats has ever been to, and that was 3 residences ago, so I have no idea where it came from. It's now in the trash.

Other things on my fridge at the moment are:
a white board where I write things we run out of
a "Where's Dildo?" humorous magnet that is holding up a couple Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons
a decorative cork board that I don't think has ever been used to hold anything
two wedding photo magnets of us and two with our photographer's logo
a cartoon penguin from Monterey Bey Aquarium
a Wounded Warrior Project magnet Fareako's mom put in his Christmas stocking
three tacky touristy ones, two of which have my name on them
our electric bill is also clamped on by one of those somewhere in there, as is an invitation to an engagement party

We pick up a magnets when we travel. My wife also likes to buy silly magnets. I have several silly ones from the cons that I've attended. We also have Carolyn and Geoff's magnet. We put up pics and post cards and such.

The GF has filled up the entire right side of our fridge with pictures of us/friends/family, all held in place with various magnets we've collected over the years. It's a focal point whenever we have friends over, because everyone wants to see if "they've made the fridge yet".

Most of our magnets are on the side of the fridge, but my husband has a magnetic schedule for the Carolina Hurricanes from every season they gave them out and several from the durham bulls. That side is covered. The front of the fridge has a couple special magnets, a magnetic shopping list, and currently all the christmas cards that had family pictures on them and an invitation to my baby shower (that we had to cancel )

no they are the super strong magnets. you can put one on one side of your palm and the other on the opposite and they will hold together through your hand.

or a 1 inch granite counter, etc.

I have always enjoyed the oddball survey of daily life-type threads.

I generally do too (do you wash your feet, do you like your own farts, how much liquid, etc)

but I feel like this is crossing into another realm

I would much rather read about people's magnet collections than them smelling their own farts.

To each her own, though.

I think any topic that starts a discussion is great. If it doesnt start a conversation it will slowly die and there is no great loss.

Censoring yourself because others may not agree or think the topic is too mundane is part of what is slowly killing the wolf web.

Let your thoughts flow!

We have about 3 magnets that I can think of at the moment. One was from my last job...just a company magnet. One is the poison control phone number...no clue where it came from. And one is a NASCAR magnet...no clue where it came from either.

We don't keep much on the fridge...maybe a few coupons or something like that for easy access. But that's about it

Yeah, one of mine with my name on it is from Hawaii. I don't know where that one came from at all, because I can only remember one friend going to Hawaii, and I know she didn't bring me a magnet.

most of mine are random Pizza places and chip-clip magnets that are holding save-a-dates and Christmas cards. I've also got one that has quick measurement conversions that I always forget to refer too . On the side of my fridge are a few menus and a dry-erase calendar that hasn't been updated since at least july of 13

^ Pizza place magnet + spray adhesive + pictures of pinup girls = Pinup girl magnets.
It's a great way to class up your place.

do you use an x-acto to cut the shape you want after the picture has dried?

I don't, but that would work. Scissors will go right through refrigerator magnets though and they're far easier to use when you've had enough to drink that you think making refrigerator magnets is a good use of your time.
