Ended up at Thai Palace off 54 on the way into UNC. It's a bit overpriced, but pretty damn good. We had the Red Curry and Pad Bi Gra Prow...the fresh spring rolls are awesome.

Never done Thai Palace myself.

Lime & Basil is still there. Went a couple months ago for lunch. Still good.

Another often overlooked place in Chapel Hill is Merlion. I really like it and its over in Southern Village.

Bandido's is better in Hillsborough, but I like them both. Better parking and food at the Hillsborough store. Parking is shit and the room is really small at the Franklin Street location. Do get takeout or walk there for lunch though sometimes.

^^^I fucking did this yesterday afternoon with my NCSU hoodie when the boss took us out drinking right after work. Did not stay for the end of the game but definitely got some evil looks and made some loud comments about beating our 1 seed.

Also quite a few new places to eat. New Mediterranean place across from TOPO. Empanadas place in Carrboro by Hampton Inn. Krave, a kava bar just opened. The Strowd has opened over Suttons, and is apparently a classy jazz club.
