Replace with "Y" and "X" sports. People with a Y chromosome compete in Y sports, people without compete in X sports.
Boom, solved upcoming decades of controversy and internet outrage over validity of a person's gender/sex.
In before "just get rid of women's sports period." 1/20/2014 7:07:32 PM

So if a man undergoes surgery and/or hormone treatment and looks completely like a woman, and even has fake boobs, should compete with other men? They would have no chance. And on the flip side, a woman who becomes a man, if s/he competes with women, the other women would have no chance in any sport involving speed or strength. 1/20/2014 7:14:56 PM

Why?

Again, why? Artificial testosterone? That's already banned anyway. 1/20/2014 7:35:32 PM

Well, a woman who becomes a man would have gained lots of extra muscle, and a man who becomes a woman would hae lost a lot of the muscle. 1/20/2014 7:41:33 PM

^ Not necessarily, especially considering most people in high level competitive sports are going to have as much muscle as possible, man or woman.
Someone who wants to compete at a high level athletic level in a sport that requires a lot of muscle isn't going to drop muscle just to appear feminine. 1/20/2014 7:48:57 PM

Sportsing fairness
Way more important than accepting those who are different 1/20/2014 8:42:31 PM

^ In the field of sports, possibly.
But with these divisions we don't need to worry about acceptance. It doesn't matter whether you are a man or woman/male or female, only whether you have a Y chromosome or 2 X chromosomes. 1/20/2014 8:53:09 PM

Is there controversy or debate on this subject?
It seems obvious that men and women should not be competing with one another. And I thought they already did chromosome testing for athletes. 1/20/2014 9:06:53 PM
