I am looking for a spot of cleared, or semi-cleared land to rent for camping for one weekend over the summer. Why can't I use a campground? Well, I plan to have between 50-75 people and campgrounds don't really accommodate that many. The ones that do are going to be more expensive, or have major alcohol restrictions (aka family campgrounds).

Here's the breakdown:

What I need:
- 2 or more acres of land that people can use for primitive camping
- approval for campers to park cars somewhere
- approval some land use for a bon fire
- the more private the better. Preferably not visible from a major road
- You being ok that we have a huge party on your land
- I will need use of the land from a Friday morning to mid-day Sunday

What you get:
- Cash money. We can discuss specifics, but you will be compensated.
- An invitation to a huge and awesome party with all you can drink beer and other beverages
- The appreciation of 50-75 people for you being so fucking awesome and letting us do this
- girls will show you their tits, and you won't even have to ask
- you do nothing. We will set up and clean up on our own
- Porto-potties will be brought in and taken away, we will never need to use any type of facilities

Oh yeah, I forgot about the liability part.

We will make each person sign a waiver when they register for the campout so we will not need to have any kind of insurance. I have been to multiple events like this in the past, and there have never been issues to my knowledge with people taking responsibility for their own dumb decision-making.

Now if you have land mines on the property or something like that... then there's a problem.

I've done things like this before..some really BIG events.

You're going to need to get lucky and find someone that just doesn't care about their money lol.

I went to similar weekend camp out type thing last summer. The host rented out the Optimist Farm for a couple hundred bucks. If you choose this venue can I get an invite PLZ?

It's not a rave or anything. It's a party where everyone can get together and drink beer. Do you have liability insurance when you throw a kegger at your house?

Privacy is wanted because we would like to not have people asking questions when we have beer chugging contests, our trail of shots night, or our scantily clad ladies...

Though every party has some drama, these events happen without major incidents all the time.

But I get that just signing a release waiver may not be enough for some. In that case, I will just keep looking.

^^Home owners insurance has personal liability coverage to a certain extent, so yes, you do have liability coverage when throwing a kegger at your house.
Most major companies offer one time liability coverage of $1M for a couple hundred dollars.

I'm in the process of buying the 14 acres behind my house. If I have closed on it by the summer I'll let you know. The current owner recently just had it cleared for timber, but there are still plenty of trees back there for privacy, plus a creek.

Also, I am charging for this event, but I am not making money. Funds will go to food, beer, and activities. And yes, I have had to pay $$ to go to a kegger before. Usually paying for a cup to get keg beer.

I looked up Event Insurance, and I will continue to research it. I think pricing on it could be reasonable, so I'll throw that in, too for those concerned.

And Hippie, this is exactly why I wasn't able to pull together a campout when I first tried a couple years ago. Granted, that was on fairly short notice as these things go, so I hope you can figure something out.

Yes! We found an excellent property out in the Yadkin Valley area. It's a private campground that is only charging us $10 per head for the entire weekend. Plus it's crazy nice.

Yes, and the owner thought that hashing sounded really fun. He showed us the large and nice bathrooms/showers and said that it didn't matter which we labeled men's or women's. we said we would probably not label them to make it more fun and he thought that was a great idea!

We can use as much wood on the property as we want for fires as long as we don't chop down trees. And we don't have to take the trash off-site when we leave, plus there is a kitchen we can use for cooking the meals (which we usually have to plan bring in stuff for). Having the showers is a BIG plus for a campout like this, too.

FYI, you guys can always go hashing! This is not a closed off group. We are looking for new blood all the time (because people get old, have kids, and stop cumming)
