It's one thing to acknowledge obvious flaws, it's another thing to say that it sucks that he broke the record b/c he sucks and is selfish, etc. etc.

Oh man, I miss Howell.

He was the only role model I've ever had.

how quickly we forget when he was settling for outside jumpers and making stupid fouls for 3 seasons

[Edited on March 5, 2016 at 5:40 PM. Reason : stupid fouls for 4 seasons, actually]

I'm pretty sure I never shit on Howell. I was a proponent for him getting more PT early in his career. But keep making shit up. Anya was a big time recruit who has been a huge flop. No denying it.

Anya was a higher rated recruit and hasn't lived up to what recruiting nerds assumed, I get that. But his career isn't over yet. Sorry if I posted something inaccurate because I couldn't keep all your hatred for numerous NC State players and coaches straight.

Probably checking to see if he really needs to lose as much weight as Gottfried keeps telling him he does.

Beej comes back from the workouts with a handwritten note:

"Dear Coach State,

Beejay can eat all the foods he wants.

Love,
the NBA"

This is completely laughable. Has to be the worst player on the entire list of players declaring (and probably returning)

no reason for him not to test the waters. i mean - he has a LONG way to go and i don't see him ever playing in the NBA, but he's a rising senior so he might as well get his feedback.

1) lose a buncha weight

2) don't gain the weight back

3) get way better at basketball

^nah even walkons at kentucky did the "test the waters" thing.

career d-leaguer for sure. he has rare flashes of a marginal nba 6th man center, but come on. guy needs way more development to be anything more than a blocker & foul absorber.

Considering history, I wouldn't be so sure he's testing the waters. We lead the nation in non nba players leave early for the draft.

Some of yall might not be aware, but the rules were recently changed to (I think) allow players to enter the draft as many times as they want and still go back to college, as long as they don't hire an agent, so why wouldn't most players with professional aspirations do it every year?

Do you realize that you're going to die one day? You'll probably suffer too. You might as well complain about that for the rest of your life and not even let something as petty as sports bring you down.

Costner, Leslie, and Lacey...who else? Powell wasn't drafted but hung around the league a while and got a couple rings, didn't he? I mean that's going back like 10 years and only 3 players.

And also Anya was quoted as saying "I fully expect to be returning to school for my senior year". But fuck facts, right?

He can't even grab a rebound in college.

He had nba potential his freshman year. It's over now, it's too late for him to improve nearly enough

We're all indebted to Anya for hitting that clutch shot against LSU. But, I think its time for him to become a cheerleader on the bench.

nah, we're going to occasionally need him to come in and get a few blocks (before he fouls out)
