Probably won't happen Keillor promised to retire years ago, and finally end that shitty 2 hour show, then reconsidered and decided to continue tormenting NPR listeners every weekend for years.

<--- Loves the Prairie Home Companion

Diane Rehm's voice drives me insane though, but then I feel bad because it's not her fault. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spasmodic_dysphonia

<---- Also loves the Prairie Home Companion! And I also cannot get through a Diane Rehm show.... I find myself finishing her sentences....didn't know she had an illness though. Car Talk is one I love to catch on the weekend too!

zoey chace has the most annoying voice, it sounds like she is chewing marbles while speaking

also there is some other chick that uses too much vocal fry to make her voice deeper that sounds distracting (who is not zoey chace)

Ugh, I hear this all the time.

Diane Rehm show - consistently great interviews with a staff that does an excellent job of researching topics for in-depth current event discussion every day. "Awful show, her voice is annoying"

Prairie Home Companion - A cut and paste format show with the same basic content every single week. Its a show about small town nostalgia with an audience that wouldn't know anything about small towns. "OMG I love Prairie Home Companion"

FTR, I don't hate her show. She has some fascinating stuff. I just find her voice distracting.

Diane Rehm's voice distracted me at first, but now when i listen i hardly notice. And yeah, her shows are usually pretty great. Keilor's voice is more distracting to me, and I don't care for that show. But I remember kinda liking the movie, I need to go back and watch it again.
