Guys,

When you live in an apartment, and you're trying to get girls to come over by playing your music as loud as possible, or cause controversy by having your dog pee on each of the front doors, it doesn't show that you're worth the time. Instead, it shows you're inconsiderate and that you're probably still in your sophomore year in college.

So when I show up and say, "Can you keep the noise down?" or when I catch you having your dog peeing on people's doors, you're going to look in my eyes and see that I'm not afraid of you. Now I've had my ass kicked, and I've done some ass-kicking. No matter the size or swagger, chances in the end are always 50/50. I'd rather it not come to that, but if you agress, I will change from "being agressed" to "being the aggressor."

I'm sorry I'm not the hot neighbor whose attention you wanted, but I'll do the decent thing and give you fair warning... I'm not fucking around. I have a 3 year old daughter who can't sleep, and my wife works in the morning. As the father and husband, I'm going to fix that. Period.

Bank's good, just looking for the right house.

When I first started living here, it was quiet. Complex was filled with small families and young professionals.

After January, everyone started to move out as they found homes for themselves, and in came these really young college kids with foosball tables and kegs of beer.

Not to knock the college life, but there are people who work on Saturday, and kids do have to sleep.

Caught the dude having his dog pee on people's front doors, then he made a run for it when I called him out. Idiot lives on the same hallway so I know where he lives. Filed a complaint with the building manager who said I'm not the only one catching him, and there's a pretty hefty fine coming his way.

The way these guys act make me think that other guys are afraid of them if they are smaller. So they're counting on those guys to send their girls to give them a soft request to chill out. But no, not me, I'll show up and say hey.

I heard the term a week ago at work. It's supposed to be some tactical way of getting girls to come to you. Like instead of you talking to them and getting to know them or something, they create a "genuine" situation where the girl talks to you.

For example, they have the music too loud, so a girl neighbor they want to meet comes over to tell you to bring the noise down. So he uses that opportunity to apologize profusely and then tries to hit it off with the girl.

Before you know it, the entire complex is blaring with music.
