yea the last scene was crazy.

hollywood prospectus podcast was spot on about it.. that's why you watch a show like that for years.

Good stuff. I see some Don vs Lou drama going down very soon.

Don has become remarkably more likable this season. Peggy ... not so much.

At the end of this episode, both husband and I (and he only watches occasionally) wanted another episode. The whole tension in the office with Don around was great.

I feel that Peggy is intolerable this season bc she probably expected things would be better with Don gone, but they really haven't. Plus the whole Ted crap. Lou is insufferable and he's not charming like Don is.

her terrible acting usually makes me fast-forward through her scenes, is there anything important happening in her story line?

I'm also trying to figure out the importance of her side. I guess they think it would be weird to completely forget about her character, but she got way too much burn in last week's episode. At one point I thought they were going to have her get lezzy with her kid's teacher...but maybe that was just my wishful thinking.

Yeah the Betty Francis side of the story is just boring at this point.

But I've really enjoyed this season so far...especially these last two episodes.

I thought it was interesting that no matter how badly Lou treats Peggy, she is still holding this hate toward Don. For a moment, though, when Michael first alerted Peggy that Don was in the office, I could have sworn she had a look of relief.

i have to imagine she's going to find out why ted really went to cali. depending on how she finds that out, might mellow her don-hate out a bit.

I kept thinking/hoping he was going to bang Pete's girl. The episode definitely started off like that was going to be a possibility.

Either way...solid ep.

I'm thinking the actress who plays Sally is going to lean in the liking women direction.

That send off for Bert was amazing. I had no idea Robert Morse had a musical past. And I think his explanation to Roger Sterling about why he backed Don really hit. One of the best episodes I have seen on the show. Incredibly well written. To Megan separating from Don, without having to say a word, to the coup that Roger did for Don, to Peggy delivering on the Burger King. I hope they saved something good for the second half.

i have mixed feelings about last nights episode.

In parts it was good to catch up and see where everyone is and what they're going through but there was so much going on from spot to spot that it seemed disjointed.

Don's sense of being totally lost and lonely was interesting, even though it's a familiar twist that they've depicted a few times before. The fact that he is consistently getting tail from attractive, younger women but wanted desperately to have a real connections with the diner waitress was telling.

I'm hoping the rest of the season is a little more connected and polished.
