Every "assembly" food place usually asks me what I've already said. You have to ask for bread first and then the meat when they get to it. 4/30/2014 8:13:50 PM

Chipotle on Hillsborough has some good employees. If you had that job you'd zone out too. Don't hate...smile and reiterate.
btw...You know the beans comes after the rice and before the meat. Somewhere in there you have to interject that you want the fajita veggies too.

they're always really freaking stingy with the meat
sometimes I want to say out loud, "C'mon dude, gimme more meat," but it's just the standard portion, just a single conservative pinch with those tweezers. they're not deliberately shorting me
still, it pisses me off that my "steak" burrito is actually only maybe 5% steak by volume (if that) whereas a Taco Bell burrito is like 70% meat by volume. I ain't saying Chipotle ain't delicious or that it's not light-years beyond Taco Bell, but my pathetic existence would be a little bit happier if they'd put more meat in my burrito. that's all.] 4/30/2014 11:33:13 PM

you might wanna check your math on that mane. taco bell's "meat product" is only like 88% beef. chipotle is closer to 100%. 4/30/2014 11:37:41 PM

okay, apparently we're going to Chipotles with completely different policies, because I'm damn sure that whenever I go they give me a stingy helping of meat. I've even discussed it with random other strangers in the line.
but your point about Taco Bell stands...I should multiply my meat-volume estimates by 50-75%. 4/30/2014 11:43:38 PM

If you can point me to a Chipotle where every burrito contains a "heaping scoop" of meet, that would be awesome, actually.

For all intents and purposes, it is fast food. Considering it is fast food, I think it is pretty tasty.
It is no Morton's steak house though.... The most notable difference between the two being Chipotle lacks the waiter that comes by your table with a tiny comb to scrape the bread crumbs away from your eating area. 5/1/2014 9:00:27 AM

^^^^ hell even if you get cheese and sour cream and a coke, it's still far healthier than Baconator, large fry and coke...or a thickburger etc
If you opt for a bowl, no cheese or sour cream and no soda, it's more like 600 calories. Add the guac for another 200 calories cause that shit is healthy.
Are you really trying to argue the average meal at Chipotle is less healthy than one from McDs, Wendys, Hardee's etc?

I hate when, on websites and posters and so on, the Chipotle burrito is abused for its horrible nutritional content
I mean, like, I KNOW it has shitloads of calories and fat and so on
But I'm gonna eat it anyway, because it's good. And that's okay. It's okay to eat things that are horrible for you, if they're good. Yet there's a whole movement in America that doesn't seem to recognize this fact. 5/1/2014 12:37:55 PM

There's nothing really specific that makes anything Chipotle unhealthy. The processed tortillas maybe. Rice has a lot of empty calories. There's really no reason to eat beans over veggies.
If you get a bowl with meat, peppers, onions, lettuce, etc then it's quite healthy. There's nothing unhealthy about non-processed animal fat. It's not like there's trans-fat or unhealthy fat in anything Chipotle.
Sour cream isn't really that bad for you. It's not unhealthy fat. A lot of calories alone don't make something unhealthy. Although if you drop the rice, beans, and tortilla from Chipotle the calories go WAY down. 5/1/2014 1:28:28 PM

Someone please explain this to me. I know if it's not saturated, it's not as bad for you. But eating too much fat in general is always bade for you, right? Like if you put big blobs of sour cream on your lunch and dinner every day, it'd make you fatter, right? 5/1/2014 1:32:42 PM
