what kind of brake fluid to get for a black 2011 Nissan G37s. The car has the 7-speed paddles with rev-matching downshift capability. it has an aftermarket pioneer stereo with aux input and bluetooth as well.

^^ I found it easily a couple of years ago.
It has been surpassed in performance now, although it's still great for the money. I ran it in the C5Z.
In a G37, unless I planned to track it, I'd run any old DOT-whatever it specs. I wouldn't spend the money on high dollar brake fluid. It's unnecessary for a car driven strictly on public roads. 5/8/2014 5:10:18 PM |

The federal standard requires motor vehicle brake fluid to be colorless or amber in color.
The specific color requirement for brake fluid in the standard is to permit easy differentiation of brake fluids from other types of motor vehicle fluids before they are placed in the vehicle. If an incompatible fluid is put into a motor vehicle system, it could lead to damage or failure of that system." |

I really liked ATE Super Blue, but I love Motul Racing. As a bonus, Motul isn't hard to find. 5/9/2014 1:26:40 AM |

You can still get ATE Type 200 (Amber) fluid, which is the same thing as Super Blue but yellow obviously. That's what I've been running in my two track cars.
I haven't tried the Motul stuff, might have to take a look. 5/9/2014 9:37:23 AM |
