^i like Gibson, but he seems to like to live in on the positive sides of the clouds a little too often.

I'm not gloom and doom either, but i think there is a difference between

"WARNING: Using TrueCrypt is not secure as it may contain unfixed security issues"

and Development on TrueCrypt has stopped, further support, and updates will not be provided. Future development can may continue in other projects. Reccommended encryptoin per OS is.

Also remember most consumer windows OS don't include bitlocker... And if anything truecrypt was targeted towards those consumers.
