"This fund was set up to support The Green Family. Ashley's loving husband, Austin Green has liver cancer and it came back when their sweet baby James was only 6 weeks old. He has only been given a few weeks and they need our help! As many of you know, Austin has been battling liver cancer for quite some time. It has been an emotional roller coaster for over two years now: in and out of the hospital, multiple surgeries and procedures, multiple doctors and specialists, clinical trials, different types of chemotherapy, and the list goes on and on. Not only has this taken an emotional toll on Austin and Ashley, but a financial one as well. And, it’s about to get even harder with Ashley being out of work for the next few months. Austin’s battle with cancer has hit a major speed bump. Last Saturday, May 31, Austin was admitted to the hospital when he found out he had an infection in his bloodstream. A couple of days later his labs came back showing that his kidneys were not in great shape. Since then they’ve found fluid around his heart and scans have shown that the cancer has grown. It just seems to be one thing after another and he can’t catch a break. He had a few procedures done today to alleviate the fluid in his body and the hope is he will go home by Sunday where he will be comfortable and surrounded by those that love him the most. Austin and Ashley are overwhelmed with all the kindness they have felt from each and every one of you. They feel the prayers and are so incredibly grateful. Now as they go through these last few weeks, we ask that you continue to pray with them through this difficult time. Pray for comfort and strength, for rest and peace, for hope and understanding. Every little bit helps! All contributions will be forwarded to the family. Thank you and please keep the Green family in your thoughts and prayers."

They have added quite a few new ones that confuse me too.

But they have reached $22500, shattering their original goal of 1000 dollars. This will help pay medical bills and allow Ashley to take time off work to spend time with her husband and baby during her husband's last few weeks of life.
