Ok so I got some new h&k headphones today.

I decided we need 1 decent headphone thread that updates regularly.

Anyway I picked up a new set of h&k synchros reflect headphones and to be honest I was just getting some el cheapos to run with because I have the regular appe ones stashed everywhere around my house and since my se530s had to get warranty replaced twice only to be stolen I swore off $$$$ headphones.

I will say when I turned these on I was floored at the sound. It was perfectly flat. Whatever you put into them they put out without clipping, without distortion no matter how loud I turn them (approaching physical pain)

I think they are only single driver headphones and I feel keep up with my old se530s only I feel these may have a more neutral timbre.

After all that the cord for these feels 100x stronger than the shures and what I should feel is nuts (the magnets in the headphones clasp them together, I love. It holds them around my neck when I want to leave them there, and it keeps them from getting tangled in my pocket when I don't.

In shure's defense those are 5 year old headphones and I'm sure the se846 or westone w60s are straight eargasms but for $60 these are damned good and also offered with Bluetooth (which may or may it affect the sound quality. Also the stupid little ear hooks actually work.
