i don't get super into trains (only been on a couple) but I will say our trip from Chicago to SF on the Zephyr was one of my favorite vacations.

Wish a train station was closer to me here in southern GA. It's an 8 hour drive back to NC. And ATL airport is 3 hours away. If there was a train station here I'd be all over taking that home to NC.

Closest one is like 100 miles away.

about 1.5 hour away. but flights out of atlanta, even though it's twice as far away, are always about $100 cheaper it seems.
